I recently attended a social media workshop with Jo Dodds at the Oriac Centre in Folkestone. I arrived as a social media sceptic who was nonetheless interested in how we may use new media to promote our business. I am not a small business person but represent a local authority leisure operation attracting 1.25 million visitors pa to our sites.

Jo is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable social media expert able to relate the opportunities available to the range of businesses represented at the seminar. I applaud the time efficiency of the workshop - early start to allow a four hour session to be complete by lunch and busy people to get on with the rest of the day. So unlike so many training organisations that seem to fill a whole day with four hours action and too many coffee/lunch breaks and charge accordingly.

By the end of the workshop I knew far more than I entered with and had the basis for understanding the array of possibilities and how I might manage them.
